Reiki and Quantum Touch

Reiki and Quantum Touch are two methods of life-force energy hands-on healing methods with complementary qualities. Both have at their basis the quiet placement of the practitioner’s hands on or near the recipient’s body to realize or encourage physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Both utilize forms of life- force energy. Both can be practiced from any distance as well.

About me

As a Reiki master and teacher and a registered Quantum Touch practitioner, healing has become part of my daily life. My motivation to study Reiki and Quantum Touch was born of my interest in natural holistic healing and a desire for further spiritual growth based on healing.

After years of working with Reiki with a slow build-up to third/master/teacher grade level in 2003, my first encounter with Quantum Touch at the beginning of 2007 gave me the missing piece of the puzzle I needed to balance my practice in healing. I registered as a Quantum Touch practitioner in 2008 and have since gone on to study at an advanced level. I started teaching Reiki in 2008 after years of allowing the attunement process and the absorption of the new energy to come to full fruition.

Profound working

Both Quantum Touch and Reiki can have a profound working. Reiki works mainly on an emotional, mental and spiritual level and tends to lessen and/or heal physical complaints by working on the feelings, thoughts and spiritual components around them. In my experience, Quantum Touch is a much more physical energy and can quickly and effectively kick-off a healing process for any physical complaint you may have ranging from mild back pain to severe scoliosis, often healing the emotion connected to the pain in the process.

Key words

Key words often used by recipients for treatment in both methods are relaxing, meditative and home-coming. Occasionally the results feel life-changing with major energetic shifts.

Enrichment and enhancement

Although I regularly practice Reiki and Quantum Touch independently of each other, I enjoy allowing them to compliment, enrich and enhance each other. In my practice they have become as two sides of the same coin. I have chosen to deepen and intensify my work with these two healing methods rather than using a wider range of techniques as too many different approaches tend to scatter the end result.
